Hamilton Island, Australia

I'm off for just over a week to the beautiful Hamilton Island.

I shall briefly think of you all as I scuba and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, then sit by the pool sipping Pina Coladas (it will be Vodka, but lets just pretend for mental images sake).

I shall return with many a scenery pic (there's a few of us girlies going, so there will be skin) and some nice views as well :)

Coral is very sharp, avoid getting cut by it.

And sharks..and jellyfish....and pirates....[SIZE="1"]I'm so damn jealous[/SIZE]:D

Jeez, I'd forgotten about the pirates - have to do something about that..

BTW Ducksnuts - any room for an engaging, personable (and slightly pink) mature cyclist...?

Hamilton Island? Where is that in relation to, say, Tasmania?

its probably the underarm or shoulder of australia compared to tassie. but just so you like it more ill say its the nipple.

I'm back...it was fantastic!!! Weather was a bit blah, but still lovely and warm.

The beach wedding was gorgeous, food was fantastic and the cocktails...expensive but devine.

Went snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, then at Chalkies beach with the Green Turtles. Wire Gliding and bush walking.

Pics to follow....not too much skin though, it wasnt quite that warm, although the ocean was a balmy 25 degrees celsius.

No real history of pirates in the Pacific ; you should know that Cyclefrance . And as for jellyfish ..... I would be far more wary of the lethal stonefish in those waters xoxoxo Bruce .
