I would thank you for your service but you're not going into the service of my country, so nyahh.

But since your country and mine has had a long and treasured friendship, I'll thank you for going into the service of your country. Whether it's flying planes or just the shit part.

I remember growing up as a young kid, I thought that Australia was lucky because it was so far away from all the troubles of the world. I thought that the people there were lucky, because if there was a nuclear war between the USA and USSR, they would be the most likely to survive, being all down in the corner there.

It turns out there is big trouble all over the world and a fuck load of it right down in that corner, and plenty of Aussie interests in a free rest of the world too.

Only the Kiwis can foolishly pretend they are too far away and it doesn't apply to them.

So thank you man!

But after we shake a country up, the Aussies are one of the ones the UN brings in to mop up and keep things quiet. ;)

I didn't know that. I used to build engine controls for the US version.
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 16, 2006 6:51 pm
I didn't know that either.
Good rugged plane used by the Navy & Marines.
Also used by Canada, Australia, Spain, Finland, Switzerland and Kuwait too, I think.
But I thought they were all built in St Louis.
Kagen4o4 • Jun 16, 2006 7:36 pm
The first two (of 75) aircraft were produced in the US, with the remainder being assembled in Australia. Delivery took place between February 1985 and May 1990.
