can't find a way to include my results but do have ghandi's and hitler's...:)

It will come as a surprise to those cellarites who know me to hear that I am on the left and veering towards libertarian:)

I think it was my 'Strongly Agree' answer to both Those who are able to work, and refuse the opportunity, should not expect society's support. and The businessperson and the manufacturer are more important than the writer and the artist. that pushed me over

To do yours, take a screenshot, crop it and save it, then upload it into your post.

No real surprises, although I think I've moved lower on the scale.

This put me in the same quadrant as Ghandi. Could I possibly be that enlightened?
DanaC • Jun 12, 2006 7:16 pm
How do I upload to my post?

This is a technocracy...if you can't figure it out your opinion doesn't count. ;-)

Seriously, in advanced mode the paperclip icon lets you attach small images.

Remember... to some people, Ghandi was that crazy motherfucker that meddled around too much in India and caused all that shit with india/pakistan.

Economic Left/Right: -4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.90
So I'm in the left wing libertarian section, still fairly near the middle of the graph as a whole.

Not suprising.
Griff • Jun 13, 2006 7:47 am
economic left/right 5.38
Social libertarian/authoritarian -6.56

Still leaning toward the anarchists.
Radar • Jun 13, 2006 10:18 am
I'd like to plot this, but just looking at the numbers I think it's a cluster rather than a line.

My 2002 numbers...

Economic Left/Right: 7.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.41

My 2005 numbers...

Economic Left/Right: 7.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.31

My 2006 numbers...

Economic Left/Right: 8.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.00
glatt • Jun 13, 2006 11:19 am
1/24/05 -4.25, -3.95

6/8/05 -5.38, -4.92

6/13/06 -4.63, -3.79

Haven't changed much in a year and a half.

There are more than you think. Conservative pagans tend to fly lower under the radar than just plain pagans ... and we tend to get treated better by the Christian Right than the Pagan Left. I can honestly say that the Christians have never tried to convert me.

Bad news - you are getting older - more conservative.

Good news - your qualitications as a top goverment official (ie PFO) are getting better - more authoritarian.
tw • Jun 13, 2006 3:39 pm
Took this test twice with many days between. Many questions I could answer either way. First time I appeared between one and two on the conservative right side. Both times I appeared same on the Libertarian scale.

Second time I arrived about same as some years ago.
Urbane Guerrilla • Jun 20, 2006 1:08 pm
While I'd like to see checkable responses labeled "Weakly Agree/Disagree", they wouldn't amount to more than a slight refinement of the graph plot.
Shawnee123 • Jun 20, 2006 1:49 pm

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.9

Not a surprise to me!
Spexxvet • Jun 21, 2006 3:49 pm
I took this awhile ago, was next to Nelson Mandela, lower left quadrant.
9th Engineer • Jun 22, 2006 5:35 pm
did the questions designed to determin one's economic rating strike anyone as a little over the top? I mean, normally I'd lie a bit left of the line but I would've had to approach these with a real 'what's mine is yours' attitude to do that here.

Personally, it's not the left/right axis that I think is as important as the libertarian/authoritarian axis. I think left and right libertarians would simply disagree. It's the authoritarians who are the issue, they being more inclined to force their views on everyone else.
rkzenrage • Jun 23, 2006 6:22 pm
Funny you say that... authoritarians see me as forcing them to allow others to do what they wish.

I'm not really surprised, but I like the idea of saving it to track the changes. I wonder if there is a natural shift due to age or whether life changes (job, marriage, children) make more of an impact...?
Urbane Guerrilla • Jun 26, 2006 6:31 pm
Girl, these are so inextricably intertwined that I think you'd have a heck of a time telling the one from the other.
