A lunar Moth in the yard .

This is a lunar Moth I found in the yard today ,
Nice pic I thought I would share ,

When I was a kid we found a luna moth caterpillar. They are truly insane looking. We tried to watch it metamorphose, but it died.

It winked at me. Ahhhhhhhhhhh:bolt:

They have no mouth parts, they don't eat. They live for about a month during which time they try to mate before they run out of steam.

Amazing (not that you're right, but that the moth has no mouth parts and does not eat. Dayum.)
