When I was a kid we found a luna moth caterpillar. They are truly insane looking. We tried to watch it metamorphose, but it died.

It winked at me. Ahhhhhhhhhhh:bolt:

You could lose the day job, Beestie, and go into standup any time you like. But just don't stop posting your material. :lol2:

cool luna moth factoid:
They have no mouth parts, they don't eat. They live for about a month during which time they try to mate before they run out of steam.

Wow, footfootfoot, I have to apologize for my uncharitable thoughts of B***S*** when I saw your post, and I do, but you are right! Amazing (not that you're right, but that the moth has no mouth parts and does not eat. Dayum.) For those who remain skeptical, here is a picture of the head of a Luna Moth taken with a microscope. **Double take alert** This image may be NSFW for those with active imaginations. You have been warned.

Apologies accepted, just don't let it happen again.

That luna moth has a dent on top of its old smoky there.

If you hit 'em, the last thing to go through his mind would be his ball bearings.
