Watching yourself at work.

I rolled tape on myself at work today to see what I'm like as a teacher. It turns out I'm a pretty darn good Special Ed guy :cool: but...

I look nothing like my mental image of myself. I had hair once. My gut needs shrinking. :lol:

I watched the tape of our Poco show. Aw man, I was moving around like a spazz. :thepain:

In the Uk, about 3 million people per day see my work.....

3 million people don't see blue sky in the UK.

Worldwide, about 80 miillion unque visitors per month see my work. About 78 million from the USA. So, JMcG, you have a wider reach in the UK than I do. Ra for you.

I can only watch myself at work if i look at a reflection in an indoor window.

I can't watch myself at work, however our security department can and they watch us a lot. Sometimes we do things just to give them things to see :redface:

I listen to myself at work almost everyday, because I'm cheaper than unionized voicetalent.

I rarely ever watch myself in any form. Nor do I look in the mirror often.

I've been surprised more than once by the face that looked back at me in the morning.

Only recently has my perception caught up with reality: I'm fat, and I could stand to lose some weight.

Like being overlyfriendly with other co-workers...dancing...adjustments...change of clothes...stuff like that. Nothing too outrageous, sorry.

When I see video of me teaching I'm always reminded about how much of a dork I am and how high my voice is. But it is great for reflecting on the content of what youre actually doing and how you are doing it. There is so much you miss when youre in the middle of it.
