How much money do you have saved up? There are countries out there with very low costs of living. Get a hut on a beach in Indonesia, and retire. Eat coconuts and fish.
Between wage slavery and relationship slavery, I would choose wage slavery and hope for the best.
I didn't get a guy to support me but I did quit a well-paying (tho soul-crushing) job to go back to school. You can do it. Just get creative. I live on what most people throw in their change bucket.
