I wasn't sure where to put this

so here it is. Someone bought a menu from a Chinese restaurant. I present the link for your amusement/comment.

I do not have the words. On the road, I eat a lot of odd things, but I think I'd pass on this place. I remember the Joy Tsin Lau GTG from WAYYY back, ordering things without knowing exactly what they were, and making random marks on the check (written entirely in Chinese) to confuse the cashier. But even that wasn't THIS bad.

I'm just guessing here, but maybe they meant to link to this menu that has been doing the rounds lately.

Which reminds me of the time in Bangkok where I ordered "cock feet soup". I dearly hoped that it wasn’t a direct translation, but to be honest there wasn’t much else to choose from on the menu. What can I say - I was served with a steaming bowl of chicken feet. Mmmmm :thepain3:

Hahaha, that was a goldmine of Engrish!

In their defense, someone was probably flipping the dictionary to do the translations. So, you get rather... literal and ungrammatical stuff. But then again, that dictionary must be quite terrible, the likes of the Hungarian-English Phrasebook in the Monty Python skit. Heh...

Thank you ozswede, that was what I meant. I posted the link but I guess I goofed or something. This new update has me a bit confused on certain details. I'll figure it out eventually.
