"Bump This Thread To The Top" AG 4EVER

Flint • Mar 28, 2006 3:25 pm
lol like omg ag is like fubar and I am like wtf and then like totally rotflmao
SteveBsjb • Mar 28, 2006 3:28 pm
We can count our posts. I think you have more. DAMN YOU!
LabRat • Mar 28, 2006 4:19 pm
:welcome:

For the record, if you decide to stick around, we prefer quality over quantity.

Unless you are LJ, who is at least funny.

Read around a bit, get the feel for the place. All are welcome, but some are more appreciated than others. :cool:

Thanks for the update!

So, you guys BUMP. Do you SAGE, too?
SteveBsjb • Mar 28, 2006 4:24 pm
What's that?
Flint • Mar 28, 2006 4:25 pm
"BUMP" !!! ha ha ha . . . that's great.

To be honest, I've mostly given up on what I consider to be "quality" - the reason being it's hard to find people who are interested in staying at what I consider to be that level. Given the chance, I will gravitate back towards serious posting, but you have to meet me in the middle. I'm not here to talk to myself, I can do that without a PC.

So, what, you're seeking people with similar interests?

You know 'BUMP' but not 'SAGE'? You're only on the vB sites, then?

If you must post every 2 seconds, at least use one thread please. Maybe name it "former AG person's hangout" or something. Or, for your convenience, we also have a cute little feature that allows you to privately message someone back and forth.

Seriously not trying to be a bitch, just trying to save some of UT's server space. For important stuff, like the 'WTF' thread. Check it out.
Flint • Mar 28, 2006 4:34 pm
Everyone here has such friendly advice!

:::taking notes:::
Dagney • Mar 28, 2006 4:37 pm
I know I'm waiting for them to branch out into the other forums. And stumble across a heated political discussion with TW, or perhaps UG, or whomever else is hungry for NOOB.

I'll bring the popcorn:corn: . Can we count on LJ for the colorful commentatry?
Flint • Mar 28, 2006 4:41 pm
Bring your best appetite, you'll spit me out pretty quick.

Try posting something worthwhile, and maybe you will get some responses. So far, your signal to noise ratio is not very impressive.

Is this what it's like to be the new kid at school?

See, I could SO make a comment on this one, but I choose not to. Not because it's not hysterical, but because, well, I prefer to not reward non optimal behavior.
Flint • Mar 28, 2006 4:55 pm
Oh okay, since I totally "started it" . . .
and I was so serious too.

:::hopping mad:::

:::blows a gasket:::

Yeah, where's LJ when we need him?
Flint • Mar 28, 2006 8:05 pm
This thread, you realize, is a parody of the "culture shock" that both "groups" are experienceing here? Laugh with me! The internet is great for experiencing points-of-view from all walks of life.
Elspode • Mar 28, 2006 8:14 pm
I was actually thinking something similar earlier, but I couldn't figure out how to say it in three or four words.
fargon • Mar 28, 2006 8:40 pm
Do we Eat the new people live or cook them first:yum:
capnhowdy • Mar 28, 2006 9:50 pm
Most of them are precooked. Just heat and serve. Then see if it leaves a bad taste in UT's mouth.
lumberjim • Mar 28, 2006 11:46 pm
what the hell am I supposed to do with them? Christ, it's like they're possessed by teenaged girls. There's nothing there to work with. I got nothing. I'm relying on UT's 'intolerably irritating' threshold to give out soon.

you three amigos need a nice chat room. Tony, start the intolerable clock.
Flint • Mar 28, 2006 11:56 pm
I don't think I've ever encountered a warmer, more welcoming group of people.
