commonwealth games MELB 2006

although i havent attended any events, even though i live in melbourne. its been great to watch on tv and see the Aussies kick some commonwealth arse. For a country with a population of only 22 million, its good to see that we can pump out some of the greatest athletes in the world and beat countrys with populations in the 100 millions

check out the medal tally

As soon as the Commonwealth Games rolls round, they televise that horrible Jamaican bobsled Disney movie again. If I attended the Games I'd expect to see John Candy's ghost...

Hey Kagen, mah brothers over in Melbourne doing a course for the bureau of met and staying near the Telstra Dome...can you lean over out the window and wave for me? :)

Now now Moondoggy (can I please spell it with an 'ie'? can I, can I??)

Don't go picking on Cooling Runnings, its a wonderfully fabulous feel good movie.

Mmmm...Jamaicans
Kagen4o4 • Apr 18, 2006 2:04 am
ill try but im about 18km (11.25 Miles) from the telstra dome.

caint you just stand on tippy toes? :)

you can call me moondoggie if you want ducksnuts - prolly more suited to my girliness than the other type of moondog. I take it, if you're lusting after jamaicans, you're penis-less also?

the jamaicans were the best part of the movie, admittedly...and there were a couple in the Games which I could have pretty happily taken home (hubby woulda loved that)

moondog
