Just saw a bit of it. The most remarkable statement:

"I tell you, freedom and human rights in America are doomed. The U.S. government will lead the American people in -- and the West in general -- into an unbearable hell and a choking life."

He's no dummy. But he's wrong... except at the airports.

No, he's right. Check out the Freedom Corps, Citizens Corps, etc. We got ourselves some citizen block-wardens to go along with the Office for Internal Security. And we've got the war without end, right out of _1984_.

I'm not sure I'd minimize whats going down in airports. The sheer amount of information that will be made available to airport workers should give all travelers some pause.

This information, over time, will be made available to other organizations operating in the public interest. DEA, IRS, FBI, CIA, NSA, all the soup...
