I heard Jimmi singing his praises just last week:
'Scuse me while I kiss this guy
Kitsune • Feb 22, 2006 9:40 pm
How much?

Lots.

...just not in "that way".
lookout123 • Feb 23, 2006 12:18 am
not that there is anything wrong with that.
wolf • Feb 23, 2006 1:45 am
The only reason that I'm not heaping effusive praise in UT's general direction is that I sense that this may embarrass him.

I appreciate him greatly, as a friend and hardy and tireless shepherd of The Cellar.
Kozmique • Feb 23, 2006 4:05 am
I'm not yet well acquainted with Undertoad, but I can never pass up a love-in!
FallenFairy • Feb 23, 2006 6:35 am
Kudo's UT - you da best!!
Undertoad • Feb 23, 2006 8:18 am
Wolf is right, it is a little embarrassing. But perfectly timed you guys... your energy is appreciated! Thank you, friends! I love you all... not in that way, but... I hope it comes through the net in the many words that we share.
glatt • Feb 23, 2006 8:46 am
You do a lot for us, and we appreciate it all. You're a good guy. :)

taking compliments is harder than taking insults.

i think you're a prick, T.

but you're such a good kisser.
bartman • Feb 23, 2006 12:26 pm
I don't post a lot, but I think we all should give props to UT, still going strong after all these years. Just think, I've changed countries, jobs, houses, and had a kid and during my time doing all those things the cellar has been a place where I can always come to relax.

:)

That's not what you said last night, big boy...

Seriously, I just heard that UT was being nominated by Pope Benny to be a Cardinal because of all the good works UT has done with The Cellar. I'm pretty sure he'll also be canonized any day now. Not too bad for a guy who isn't even Catholic.

Thanks for everything, UT. You're aces.
Tonchi • Feb 23, 2006 3:36 pm
Ooooh, I've ALWAYS adored toads. They rock  I even have my Girl Scout badge in Reptiles and Amphibians. Maybe I'm not the best judge, though, since my idea of hot is James Spader in his horn-rim glasses stage of the '80s, but I think OUR Toad is the best one of all! ;)
Elspode • Feb 23, 2006 3:59 pm
My wife agrees with you, Tonchi. She is also a big Jeff Goldblum fan.
Tonchi • Feb 23, 2006 4:08 pm
OMG, Els, you have me all aquivver now. I also adored Jeff Goldblum, the absolute epitome of Jewish studliness

Especially those of us who used to reach it by dialing directly into one of four lines ...when it was running on what...a 486? And it was the low-cost way to gain access to Usenet, which arrived via uucp every so often?

I certainly appreciate UT.

I just know he has to love us way more to go through all the shit he has to. Most people would have said fuck it a long, long time ago.
jinx • Feb 23, 2006 6:49 pm
Yeah, I'd hit it.

If you can also play drums and sing, I'll follow you anywhere
Beestie • Feb 23, 2006 10:12 pm
Rich knows drums. There was a whole thread about it that I'm too lazy to look for and link.

Would you want to put a red chiffon evening gown on UT and ride him around his house? Not in a gay way but it a viking sort of way...
monster • Feb 23, 2006 11:49 pm
Is it true that you can lick the toad and get high?

I'm pretty new here, enlighten me....

:D
Aliantha • Feb 24, 2006 12:09 am
I think it depends what sort of toad you're licking. Some of them just taste yucky...or so I've heard anyway. I'm sure the one that runs this place wouldn't taste too bad...if you did love him 'in that way'.

Of course, being a newbie myself, I'd have to just say that it's a cool site and I like the way it's run.

That's it for me and sucky uppy type ego stroking threads...even if they are for the boss. :)
Tonchi • Feb 24, 2006 12:51 am
Only MEXICAN toads. I think you can find them in Phoenix, ask Lookout ;)
Undertoad • Feb 24, 2006 7:59 am
The Cane toad is the psychoactive one. The Under toad is licked daily by a small, very strange dog.
limey • Feb 24, 2006 3:34 pm
Yes, UT, you rock! :thankyou: for bothering!
NotAnAngel • Feb 25, 2006 5:11 pm

Yep, my Ashiko. I did a decent job with it. I did manage not to get Anthrax putting the new head on my drum, so I must have done something right.
wolf • Feb 25, 2006 6:55 pm
I think the drum maker story is totally a cover. There is more to this shit.

You don't usually see Sayre on the news, though.
xoxoxoBruce • Feb 25, 2006 9:16 pm
Sayre??

lol...well heaven forbid he turn out to be another stormmeister. Thankfully he seems to be a little more moderate than some site owners, and that's something worth being happy about. ;)
