Well, that's gotta hurt. From the French news item, Un automobiliste est sorti miraculeusement indemne jeudi soir de sa voiture qui venait d'être écrasée par un rocher de plusieurs tonnes tombé de la montagne près de Breil-sur-Roya (Alpes-Maritimes), un éboulement qui a entraîné la suspension des liaisons ferroviaires, a-t-on appris auprès des pompiers vendredi.

In other words, this massive, several-ton rock fell from a mountain in the Maritime Alps. The loss of the rock led to the suspension of the rail links, but somehow the motorist in this vehicle survived unscathed. (I think they're saying the motorist was in the car when the rock hit.)

Well, anybody with any sense knows green cars are unlucky. I wonder if it ran a white flag up the antenna before it got hit? ;)

That guy is seriously lucky. Or seriously unlucky, depending on how you look at it.

Even their mountains hate the French.

Interesting.

[Charlie]I got a rock.[/Brown]

I can imagine the phone call ...

"But, Monsieur Adjuster d'Insurance, you do not, how you say, understand. I was not stoned and had le accident, le car, she was stoned. Que? Oh, no, I do not buy the rock falling coverages. What does this mean, between ze rock and ze hard place?"

Translates to :
A car driver miraculously (it this english? anyway I guess it is self explaining ) stepped out unhurt of his car which had just been crashed by a several tons stone falling down from the mountain, close to Breil-sur-Roya (this is close to Nice & the Italian border).
This temporarily blocked the trains traffic, said the firemen on friday

Basically no clue whether the guy was in the car when the big stuff fell down.
Anyway, as previously said, the guy is VERY lucky :mg:

I'm pretty sure that the green sign on the car door says: Vote for Hamas.

LOL :D Troll inside
Do you really think people support the Hamas in France  Well I don't ...

It is the Office National des Forets, so National Forest Office (was this translation really needed). These guys are taking care of forests, and wild places, so basically they have to drive on very small roads / tracks all over the country

A meteorite can slam into any of my piece of shit cars any day, as long as I get to keep the damn space debris afterward. Do you have any idea what a meteroite that size is worth? It would buy a couple of dozen POS Oldsmobuicks...

Interestingly that is the same shade of green that BC Ministry of Forests trucks are painted.
