Wow, theat was amazing. When I was in college one of my techers gave us an assignment the first day of class to build a "golfball machine" where balls numbered one through six had to be set loose simultaneously and arrive at the other end of the machine in a new order, something like 3,1,6,5,2,4.
The machine had to reset itself so it could go a second time without any adjustments. He gave us two days to be finished.

After we had our designs figured out and built, it still took hours of finessing to get the things to work every time.

I bet that video represents months of work. Really astounding too, the use of everyday objects, books as ramps, etc.

I'd like to see the discovery channel program on that one. Obviously the person who built it doesn't have access to the cellar.

We used to make Tennis ball cannons , we had to stop when we got the bright Idea of sorking a tennis ball in Karoseen over nite " It will look SOOOO F'n COOL flying thru the air !!!"
It did untill it rolled under that parked car

At my father in law's ashes scattering service we gave him a 21 gun potato cannon salute. After the first few my wife felt the novelty had worn thin...

I thought it was glorious.
