Feb 17, 2011: Setter and owner noted at Westminster Dog Show

To honor our own Nirvana, who showed at Westminster just days ago with her lovely fawn girl Mia, here's one of the best images in today's Boston.com Big Picture. Perhaps the photographer (credit one Timothy A. Clary) was on the lookout for an example of a dog that looks like its owner, but in any case, the photo, the woman, and the dog are all beauts.

She needs more freckles. Brown-nosing would help, too.

Beautiful! Look at the dog's coat on his chest. What a gorgeous creature. Bet he takes some grooming to stay all silky like that. If he was mine he'd have dredlocks.

the look in the dogs eye - it says, "I KNOW I'm cool but what are you?"

God I'd love to know what is going through that dog's mind at that moment. That noble faraway look....probably thinking about food.
