Dennis Hopper is an icon. I had no idea either. Looking at his body of work on IMBD, I'd say he's earned some recognition.

...it's interesting (to me) that Mr. Foot's deputy leader is now Lord Healy and his successor is now Lord Kinnock (Lord Kinnock!!!11!1!!11!?). Was Michael too scruffy for a peerage?
