Yesterday I spent the morning replacing two broken window sash ropes, and replacing the screening in the screen. It took longer than I expected. 4 hour job. Kept running in to problems.

Then in the evening, we used the kids' tie dye kit to dye some shirts. At the last minute I joined in too. Went down in the basement so we wouldn't stain anything nice.

Let them rest over night and then in the morning, we rinsed them out in the utility sink before throwing them in the washing machine. That sink full of water looks like ink.

So Griff, I see the wasp sucking going on, but what's the story with the timbers?

That's my often delayed barn project. Right now it only lacks time and money. The wasp sucking was very effective btw. I just put soapy water in the bottom of the shop vac and bunjied a schedule 40 pipe to the ladder. Duct tape made a contribution as well.
