The Newspapers
Newspapers are dropping like flies, only the powerful(read wealthy) organizations will survive in reporting important news. Local papers will struggle to bring you PTA meetings, Little League schedules, and items which will offend no one. So what's the problem? Politics, with small papers teetering on the brink, afraid to piss off anyone, who will keep an eye on local politicians. Rosco P. Coltrane and JD Hogg just love it.

Two days ago, I noted how much The New Yorker, Eustace and all, had shrunk. Once it was a thick mag. Two days ago, fewer pages, smaller content -- fewer cartoons! Day-um.
