Cotton candy pink might look good, too.

No no no. Blue is for boys. Pink is for girls. We're on a slippery slope, good people, towards the ruin of society as we know it!

How come no one ever colors their hair a nice respectable navy blue? You can get sensible shoes to match!

Just today I saw at least two (maybe three? I forget) people with Navy hair (cause Burlington). Granted, I saw more pinks and reds, but I definitely saw some dark blues. The problem is, navy fades to turquoise on bleached hair - and it takes a LOT of dye for a LOT longer to get very dark colours anyway.

Where on earth do you live?! I tried getting my hair dyed a seaweed green, but the local salon said green is tricky and it generally ends up looking like cow poo. (I'm in a dairy farming area, hence the easy analogy.)

Okay my hair is blue/ black not navy, but blues do fade fast and look worse when they do (a nice blue-rinse anyone?)

I had really nice fuschia hair once for a play. I still kick myself that I somehow never managed to get a photo of it before it faded.
