Right you are, SG! "Dragon" is a pipe-dream, I admit.

"Lilly" is good, though, right? I would name them "Lilly" and "Livered"--no, no..."Lilly" and "Begonia"!

"Myrtle" and "Harriett"--distinctive, different;
"Regina" and ""Hortence"--?
"Portia" and "Portence"
"Gloaming" and "Gulliver"---the possibilities..!

Oh stop it. There is nothing wrong with your name. I'll go further, it's a beautiful name. Show we one name that "horrible nicknames" can't be made from. Besides, it someone wants to give you a horrible nickname they don't need a name to start with.

You don't like Lilly and Dragon either, huh?

My real name is a hideous mess that traumatized me from birth thru age 14. My IRL name is Claudette. Yick. All I ever wanted was to be called Nikki, Mindy, Christy, Bunni, Heather, Sandy or April.

The nicknames of my IRL name have been cruel and unusual.

I am sure it was to name you after one of the most beautiful and famous Claudettes because you were the most beautiful Bri.
