Conway

I'm living in Conway, a small town with two and a half colleges.

It's in a dry county.

The nearest "hot spot" is Little Rock, about half an hour away. If you watched Dave Attell's Little Rock episode, you may have noticed that he didn't find much to do.

I was surprised that they managed to get a full show out of it.

Living here isn't as bad as that makes it sound, though. It's like anywhere else, you just have to find a few good people to spend time with, and you have to make your own fun.

Conway Area Plusses:
- One or two good coffee shops
- Star of India in nearby Little Rock serves the best Indian food that I have tasted.
- Easy access to some very good camping and hiking areas

Drawbacks:
- Not much of a "night life" outside of college related keggers %^P
- Interesting folks tend to pass through to attend the University or Hendrix, but they leave after (or before) graduating.

I have to ask the obvious question, where does the half a college come in?

There are two medium sized universities and a very small one.

I should have said two and a half universities. There are many colleges, as each university contains several.

Conway is one of the towns in which Conway Twitty took his name (along with Twitty, TX).
