I'm not, honest. A slightly dodgy caffeine/alcohol pattern maybe. Man I was pooped last night, I crashed out so early! Swim championships this weekend, gotta get the battle plan shipshape and do all the stuff i should have done when I was wasring time sleeping

Walking from the train station to work this morning a young woman did a face plant into the sidewalk. I'm not sure how she tripped, because it happened behind me.

Here we are in downtown cynicism - the city of cold shoulders. But lots of people stopped to help her up, gather her things and get her back on her way.

It was a feel-good moment.

I've been in Adelaide, Australia, since February 2008. Sheesh, no wonder you guys can't find Osama.

I've just repaired a very ordinary wooden box. I used pegs made of matchstick to fill the holes which had become too big for the screws holding the hinges and then reattached the hinge to the box with the original screws.
And then I found an eyelet screw so that I could attach a small chain to hold the lid upright when vertical, to prevent the lid-hinge-screw problem from happening again.
20 minutes. Smug.
