Oh...that explains it. I've seen all those chemical plants and refineries in Houston.

I live about 15 miles west of downtown, but still well within the city. Most industry in Houston is over on the east side.

I don't think pollution has any thing to do with the coloration seen here (and it had just rained, anyway). A lucky combination of sky, clouds and sun angle.
