OK, I don't want to organoze this year because ... well, just because. But I'm happy to arrange/randomize who gives to who including the organizer if the organizer sends me a list of names split into the following categories (and any I missed)

N. Am to N. Am only
N. Am to anywhere
Europe to Europe only
Europe to Anywhere
Australasia to Aus only
Australasia to anywhere
Anywhere else to Anywhere (no non-overseas option for these people)

You can then send out the mailing details to the appropriate people. And SG's right, it doesn't matter how many there are in each category, it will work.

Okies.... here goes.

I will organize this little adventure.

Do we really need a theme?

Lets see... how about a $10-25ish limit, before shipping? I am sure some will go over, but we should have a limit so people don't feel obligated on a cost.
Remember its not the $$ spent, but the thought and effort that counts!

Anyone willing to ship a gift, but do not want to recive one, please let me know
It would be nice to have 2 "stand by" givers as well... in case someone joins then can not participate after the names are drawn.

Let's have the names drawn on Nov 15th, and then all parcels sent out by Nov 29th. Does that sound fair enough, to get all names in, and 2 weeks to get your gift?

I need each person who wishes to join in to PM me the following:
-Real name, address
-How far you are willing to ship to
-Describe to me your 3 likes and 3 dislikes
-Tell me your fav colour, hobbies, etc...

Anything I have missed, I am sure someone will let me know

You might want to include clothing sizes in your list (specify country). One Size Fits All doesn't! (not that I'd ask for or send a tee shirt, but such a thing can happen).

If you, Ducks, and Ali don't mind, I think Jaydaan wouldn't mind shuffling the 3 names among yourselves. That way, you three will only send within Aussie and all three will still not know who's ur secret Santa. Unless y'all would prefer to organize your own, then....

I think Casi is going to organize for us Tulip, so you probably don't need to worry about putting our names in the hat. At least, that's my understanding anyway.

I am sure Casi has that under control

As for the rest of us, I have 12 names so far, with me 13. You have 4 days to get your name in the hat. On the 15th I will draw names, and reply to each privately at that time.

I wish I had the $$ to send EVERYONE a gift, your answers have made me smile and chuckle, and many times I have thought.. ohhh I know exactly what they would like. I think this years gift will be exciting to see pictured.
