October 4, 2007: Puppy with a heart marking
A long-time lurker sends this along, suggesting it for a Friday. It's a superb Friday image, but I actually have a great one in the queue... you'll have to wait and see tomorrow. In the meantime, this is certainly a Cute Overload candidate, and although the cloyingly cute stuff generally doesn't go on IotD, I know some of you will be oohing and aahing over this pup, and that forces me to post it. Enjoy. |

Well the puppy is in Japan not China so he may survive a year or two from the resturant.

But: Dog, no. Horse, yes. (I tease my students: Have you ever ridden a horse? Have you ever eaten horse meat? (if yes to both ...) Was it the same horse? (Cue irrational squeamishness and immediate denial.) How do you know? PS I've tried it. Bland. |

So that's a cute animal with a heart,
here's one with clubs anyone up for diamonds and spades? (and yes, I don't like it either and I will not post any seal recipes)
