The Barcelona Opera re-opened this week, presenting a performance by a string quartet. They played to a full (green)house.

It was also livestreamed for humans and the plants will be donated to healthcare workers.

I'm sure that must have been a factor, as well as somehow it seems like it would feel less lonely playing to an audience of plants than to empty seats. The coverage seems to suggest it was more of an artistic statement/living piece, though
