Hello all.. Im 25.. Computer programmer for a stock loan firm. I a new york transplant living in jersey. I am a bleeding heart liberal. I love the yanks (but not a mets hater..just a sox hater)... I make quilts and do cross stitch... I love martial arts.. Im actually a nice person even though Im very opinionated. Often Ill make a long researched post to back up my points, while Ill also make posts that are just full of opinions.

I love music, all kinds.... I sing... Ill have to upload an MP3 sometime and get you all to critique me...

Oh yeah...and Im working on paying down my debt so I can quit my job as a programmer and become a highschool math teacher

Nice story, Munchkin, and you're not too far away from where I am. Quilts and martial arts, huh? Quite the mixture. I'm guessing you're... 5'3"?

Steve--the Cellar's self-appointed Welcome Wagon lady.

Ya know what they say about people who use lots of exclamation points in their writing? They're obsessed with the penis.

Carry on.

Brianna: I never heard that. But I was wondering: if that's true, what's the significance of lots of colons?

I'd also like to welcome all newbies--jump right in and post something.

I think people that think other people are obsessed with penis, are actually obsessed with penis themselves.

People that think I'm Julie, are probably Julie themselves.

Obviously, Steve is like the Sphinx: Behold!

To learn my teachings, I must first teach you how to learn.

You must lash out with every limb, like the octopus who plays the drums.

He who questions training only trains himself at asking questions.

You must be like wolf pack, not six-pack.

Et cetera.

HEY! I resemble that remark. Speaking of writing indicators, what does it mean when you use a lot of ... as a form of punctuation (like I do)?

Or parenthesis? (see above)

Margaret is never nice to me here. I may nominate her for "meanest" on the message board. Anyway, I make a thread welcoming new people, and I'm the bad guy.

And Brianna, I never lash out at anyone here. I'm glad I'm so obvioius to you though.

Wait, there's more!

If you can balance a tack hammer on your head, you will head off your foes with a balanced attack.

And...

You dress in the manner of a male prostitute.

HA!

"Margaret" is never nice to anyone. I thought I told you that.

And, dude, my shit is harmless. Ask anyone.
