No Costco here yet. Gee whiz, even the Cellar can't come up with a raving anti-Costco lunatic... hmm.. might have something to do with holes in clouds

I think it's got more to do with socially responsible employer.

Didn't UT have trouble buying a chair there once? He didn't get what was pictured? I don't remember how it turned out...

None around here either...Sams though.

That's how Trader Joe's works for me. I can never leave with an empty bag.

There are only two reasons I'm not a Costco member, though I've liked everything I've seen and heard about them:

1) The closest to me are in King of Prussia (near the mall, often a VERY inconvenient drive) and Christiana, Delaware (a pretty good haul), and
2) BJ's Wholesale Club is very structurally similar in terms of prices and inventory, is also not part of the Wal-Mart empire, and is much closer to where I live. I don't know if BJ's is anywhere near Costco in terms of treating their employees like gold, though.

If I hadn't been a BJ's member for almost a decade, I'd think seriously about Costco, but I don't know that I'm going to make the drive to KoP often enough and buy enough to justify the added membership.

Christiana isn't that far from you, and you have the no sales tax advantage ...
