Adopted a dog today from a local shelter! She's about 2 years old, a bichon frise, and supposedly named Princess but has yet to answer to that. Her past training is minimal, so I'll probably just rename her. Any suggestions?
Here she is all tired out from long emotional day.

"Shaun" from Wallace and Gromit's A Close Shave? It's not gender-appropriate, but it's cute.
Lovely pup, MTP.

Oh so that's what a Bichon looks like with a haircut!
Here's what they look like without. I like the closely-groomed version better! |

Bichon's are adorable dogs. My mum had one (named Homer). Bright as a button and full of happy mischief. @ Jinx: awesome shots.

Jinx: I'm coming to your house and catnapping them away! They are sooo beautiful!
Morethanpretty: I'm sure she's a very lucky dog, and you're lucky to have her. Have you decided on a name yet?

Thanks for the name suggestions y'all, I'm sad to say I didn't go with any of them. She is officially named Della. We went to the vet on Mon, she has a bit of a fever and probably has a cold, she'll be on antibiotics for a little while. Her sneezing makes my heart break. She has yet to, erm, make friends with the cat, hopefully she won't have to learn her lesson the hard way. Anyway enough rambling, y'all want some pics!
