Does Anybody Realize How Powerful We Are

Even little ole' me, I went to Wal-Mart and $375.00 and a DSL connection later I was set up. A whole new world opened up, I can chat with people all over the world, and spread my radical right wing politics around. In the last 5 years I have seen an explosion in internet use. People you would never think even knew what a computer was are on line.

Yes, but what they didn't tell you is that everyone writes and no one reads when it comes to politics. No one ever changes their mind whether it be a pig fight or a healthy debate.

I'm sure glad you got broadband, so we can deliver ads to you faster.

The best thing I love about right wingers is how The Drudge Report is such a cash cow for us and how useless pop-up blockers have become.

Are you sure you're not restricted to chatting with China? After all, it's a Walmart setup!

You get to spread your thinking around, true;

But you ignore half the power of the net if you don't allow others to spread their thinking to you.

I wish it WERE thoughts that were being spread. That would be a true worldwide democratic revolution. Unfortunately, what is happening instead is only EGOS are being loaded. The internet is caving in because nothing is ever purged, and - if you do not know the specific url - a search engine will never be able to put you in contact with 99.9% of what is "out there", even though it is taking up most of the space. The fact that any moron, or 10 billion of them, can post a webpage about their thoughts is NOT an improvement

I'm pretty sure that's Lumberjim's. We tried to have it measured, but it broke the gauge.

From zero to Godwin's Law in four hours, transatlantic.

And they say there's no progress...that would have taken *days* over Fidonet.

Naw, Maggie, it has to be said in anger, doesn't it? As opposed to casual reference.
