Welcome to the cellar, Kittiew0k! I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Pissed off, amused, entertained, educated, misled, stimulated, embarassed, enraged, entranced and stuck here, probably, but never disappointed.

I'm at work right now, that pretty much guarantees being pissed off Ahh the joys of helpdesk

Ooh and I'm located about 1 hour north of Sydney city (If you're doing 160KMs/H), on the coast. Bit of a commute to get to work, but unless you go the city you won't find any nice jobs

Someone linked to the thread about the giant pink bunny being erected, the one located here, that's when I first saw The Cellar in action :p

It was mentioned in this thread on OCAU, it got a laugh

Edit: OCAU is Overclockers Australia, a Computer based forum with a few other sections.

It's the attraction of people that you **almost** know. You know this and that about them (or what they want you to believe about them) and might share a chuckle or common thought here and there...but they arent close enough to you in the real world to actually waste your time with face to face conversations and social encounters.

This keeps one out of trouble with the law for physically assaulting those you dont like as well. Of course, there's also the option of the ignore feature.

For the most part people are civil here. The further you get away from here the more you can appreciate that.

There are some very kind people here that also help out fellow members in real world bad times. I've been the recipient of such a gesture and I know others here have too. It's truly amazing considering that for all practical purposes, we're all just lines of text here.

The cellar also allows people to socialize in many different areas in their own way. I dont relate well to people in real life. I know, you're shocked. It's true though. I dont like being around real live people. Coming here I can pretend that I'm interested in other people and that I want to share mildly interesting things of my own life and thoughts.

But that's just me, my, mine, myself and I.

Don't forget your imaginary friend.

Or did you kill him and hide the body?

He's just a voice in my head so I'd have to kill myself and hide the body, which makes things just a bit tricky.
