Well_Duh !

A thread for things like this is self-justifying...

Quote:
A senior officer and NCIS agent are among those ensnared in a scandal
that has exposed a massive overbilling scheme run by a defense contractor
in exchange for prostitutes and other kickbacks, federal investigators say.
A defense contractor would overbill the US government ?

Well Duh !

Hearings on problems with the Obamacare website are on-going.

If you've ever been part of, or sat in on, one of these events at the State or Federal level,
you will recognize the kinds of (leading) questions that are asked,
and the kinds of (defensive) answers that are given by witnesses.

Today a lead contractor, CGI Federal's Senior Vice President, Cheryl Campbell, gave a classic response
To this (unbiased) eye, the responses of the witnesses from the other contractors essentially followed her lead.

Quote:
" Mr. Chairman, CGI Federal's part of the program ran as designed. "
It's really good to know that the computers actually did what their lines of programming code said to do !

Well Duh !

"Ran as designed" isn't exactly the same as "ran as coded".

But "ran as designed" also doesn't mean "works".
