September 1, 2006: Giraffe

There's no further information on this one, but it's a must-post anyway, sort of like nopaper's big ol' cow picture.

And I have nothing else to add to it, except of course, Happy Friday (and extended weekend, for those who have it (US holiday Monday)).

Kinda space-alien funny-looking up close, ain't it?

How can people look at that and claim there is no Goddess?

Back when it wasn't bad for them, we used to feed the giraffes marshmallows and stale bread. Of course, you can't feed them *anything* anymore, but it was pretty cool the way they stuck their heads up over the walls of the concrete pit they kept them in, and stuck out those two foot tongues to wrap around the offered treat.

Female giraffes must be the happiest, most sexually gratified mammals on Earth.

Elspode, you know I've nothing but admiration for you. That said, is there something you'd like to tell us?

Most females I've had the good fortune to "know" have told me they'd rather a quality tongue than a quality member any day of the week.

NO, Bri. You have a filthy mind. Granted, it is one of your finest characteristics, but still...NO!

This is thread drift approaching the drift of a barrel headed for the edge of Niagara Falls.

I'm with Bri on the alien thingie. Maybe it's the antennae looking *Horns?*. Truly amazing creatures. So ugly they're beautiful.

Wonder if they'd be good in the crock pot.....

We're slipping. It took 13 posts before someone thought about cooking and eating the Friday animal.
