Definitely balls of steel. I used to work with a guy who could ride like that, he was amazing. He was hiking along the grand canyon and tripped on a rock or something and took a 'long dive'. That was fucking ironic.

This video made an early and deep impression on me, it's exactly the way I dance in a club (not that I'm in a club more than once or twice a year):

What? No maimed spectators? There are usually maimed spectators in the really good rally videos.

These drivers are insane. Almost as insane as the people who put up the money so that the drivers can do their insane jobs.

That guy in the cabinet, playing "melodies" on the glassware? Every time I go to the store, I have to "explore" the aisles to find the best sounding decorative knick-knacks, vases, lamps, etc. Target has a good aisle, usually, of "World Market" type stuff. I look for the melodies in rhythm instruments, being a follower of Bozzio:

The guy in the cabinet had great sound. We've got a couple of good pieces of glass ware but I never thought of auditioning them before buying them.

One of my favorite instruments is pulling the strings on my hoodie taught and twanging them. I once recorded this by putting on a set of walkman headphones and plugging the jack into the input.

I was never a great fan of Frank Zappa, but I am very impressed with Tery Bozzio's playing. He is nearly as good as Ginger Baker.
