Yup - the East Coast.

Just took this picture of moonrise from my front porch. The previous exposures have the utility lines crossing the face of the moon. This was the first one to rise above them from my point of view.

I would have thought a longer exposure than 1/20th of a sec.

Remember, it's a beautiful bright sunny day on the moon. The night is dark, but the moon is bright.
