Letterman is good again

It stuck me suddenly one day... Letterman is good again. I watched him all through college... and for years after college, too. I quit after the CBS move. Now I've started watching again and he's really good. Not so much the monologue or opening segment, but he has a way with guests again. He used to be really harsh with some people. Now he's pleasant and intellectual and witty. The audience bits are great. Last night's pet tricks were great.
