Why not deal with your problems and work through them instead of just drowning your sorrows?

Well see, most of these so called problems aren't really problems that "I" can deal with. Or you could say that I have dealt with them but just haven't gotten myself to fully accept my decisions yet. The best way to deal with that is to give it time. The problems that I myself have can only be solved by time.
See it seems that the only way they can go away is for me to finish college and get a real job not some sucky internship. There is NOTHING I can do to speed that up. No I cannot take courses elsewhere, no I cannot take more than 21 credits a semester, even if I took 21 instead of the 18 I normaly do, I'd still graduate at the same time. There is NOTHING I can do but kill some time. EQ is the god of killing time. Well actually, the only other thing I can do is win the lottery and buy my own house and have enough to live off..but that won't happen will it? It's either EQ or getting a dog. I always wanted a dog - maybe an Akita? They're very nice and could probably live in a suburban home. But dog's are a big commitment and I don't know if I the dog could handle me being away from 8-6 every day. |

It's not about the goal, but rather, it's about the process. Some day you will get your degree and job. But, how was the journey? How well are you prepared for a balanced life? Will addictive behaviors transfer to new, less-healthy habits?
Go out and socialize ! ...with both men and women. Go to a hockey game with folks. Get people together for a board game such as Die Seidler von Catan. Go out for beer Monday night and watch the Steelers crush the dirty birds. Do stuff with PEOPLE. Isolation is not healthy. But, everyone needs some amount of Solitude. Achieve Balance.

EDIT: And no it wasen't a proposition. It was more of a loving-support type of thing. I was just saying that if he has radiation poisioning or whatever that chick said - I've got it as does many of my friends.

I'm only 21, but it's the years of radiation from my PC that have caused me to age about 3 times faster and caused the mild tooth decay.
On a good note, I am now lvl 64 but hardly play, after the 17th I should really pick up speed. |
