Over here you can get bubbles that have some kind of fixative in them so that they don't pop. They actually set on the surface they land on.
They're pretty cool for little kids to play with sometimes (or big kids like me). Best to do it outside though. They tend to leave marks on furniture etc. Do you have them where you are?
