12/16/2004: Strikingly graphic non-Friday animals

Both of these images were on Fark, and the first was widely distributed elsewhere as well, but both deserve a shot here too. The first is a catch in Nova Scotia that was described as a record here.

The second is the best of a graphic and alarming series of a python eating a pig, originally here until their bandwidth went bye. The shot offered here is midway through the meal. Good god.

Well at least the snake doesn't sully up the place with a lot of blood.
I'll bet either one could get one of those 9 lb burgers for free.

The funny thing is the pig is also eating the snake from the inside.

Considering how much meat either of those critters up there can pack away in a single meal, I'll bet they could get away with at least 3 or 4. In case of the shark, maybe a few more.

It's important to remember though, that at least in the case of the snake, that's all he's going to eat for probably a month.

Yeah, but I think when you get several 9lb burgers for free, they don't let you come back again for at least a month. Maybe a year, so...

Wait a minute, what were we talking about?
