2/13/2003: Japanese Beetle

Valentine's Day special, here - Japanese chefs took 150 liters of chocolate to coat (not mold) this Beetle in chocolate. It's on display in a Tokyo shopping complex.

It would have been more impressive if it was molded, but then it probably would have been more expensive than the car itself.

The followup questions are unanswered: how they are going to get it cleaned, whether anyone gets to eat the chocy, whether it's safe from car wax and other industrial stuff, etc.

bleah!

That car will never smell right again.

They might as well have filled it with herring.

I seen a 1:1 scall of a formula 1 in chocolate...I think they could have molded it without it costing as much as or more than the actual car.
