I'm gonna do it

I've wanted to go back to school for years, but every time I try, I either get pregnant or someone divorces me, which really throws me for a loop.

Monday I'm going to head down to PSU and talk to someone about enrollment and financial aid. I don't really know how it all works, but I'm going to find out. I can definitely work part-time while in school full-time, and my youngest is in full-day kindergarten, which gives me time for day classes.

As an older minority female single parent with a 3.9 GPA going into the sciences, I'm pretty confident I will be able to get decent aid to cover tuition. My main worry is getting the financial aid I need to pay my bills. If I can really for real pull this off, it would mean I could have my PhD by the time I'm 45!

I really hope this works out. Wish me luck!

So today I applied for co-enrollment at PSU and PCC, and I started on my FAFSA but I don't have my 2008 tax papers back yet and my CPA is on vacation until the 27th.
