Living room, pantry and vestibule kitchen are painted. Carpets and lino laid everywhere except bedroom and bathroom which are staying as is for now:-)
Am trying to put house back together now.

guess i could post this in two threads but the outcome will be a happy one. dunno if y'all remember but 2 years ago or so we tore out our kitchen and put in an almost new one. almost 'cuz of the not so new dishwasher. it broke. a year and a half ago. been hand washing ever since. i wash the dishes good. roommate? not so well. tonight i look in the strainer side of the sink and it's freaking gross! with supposedly clean dishes in the rack. i'm like fuck this. i'm done. i'm going to buy a new dishwasher NOW. i've been saving a bit since i started my new job for just such an occasion. went to homo depot and bought a maytag on sale. 10% off anyways. hey 40 bucks is 40 bucks. be here saturday.
