curious...

I was at one of the local Goodwill stores the other day and in the yarn-ish section was a big zippered bag of raw wool, $50. Well beyond my what-the-hell budget, but squarely in my what-in-the-hell?? interest.

So.. it was maybe a rough cube/sphere 18-24 inches in diameter, maybe a few pounds (hard to say how much was tare weight). Is that a good deal? I have no frame of reference at all.
