Alas, poor Cellar, I knew it well...

Well, the time that I dreaded finally came this morning. Right after my last post this morning, I hit back and got the "red screen of death." (See pic below). The Comm Nazi's fianally caught on to me and blocked the Cellar at work. I now no longer can browse during normal working hours. So I fear my postings will probly come to a grinding halt from here on out. I'll try to keep up at home but I don't always get the opps to do that. You know how it is, if you miss one day, you are behind on some threads by leaps and bounds. Just as well, I was begining to hit the site at work way too much. Anyway, I hate it when people sort of disapear without explanation, so there it is. It's been fun, it's been real, it's been entertaining to say the least. Thanks all.

Well, that sucks. Of course they have the right to do so, but it really does sound kind of petty.

Keep in touch. I can't always keep track of every thread, so just pick one every now and then.

Although one wonders exactly what it was that pushed cellar.org over the edge. (Maybe it was the woman with the silicone watermelons.)

When I was trying to use the computer at library after the storm. The cellar was blocked. But I worked around it. Found someone who had power and a computer.

The *library* blocks The Cellar? What on Earth for?

I knew that whale penis would come back to haunt us one day. :p

C'mon folks, it's Mississippi. They probably consider Vanity Fair light porn.

It was something radar said, probably. Most likely in that tribute thread about Ronald Reagan.

Try signing into http://www.anonymizer.com and get into the celler by typing the url instead of using the bookmark. I think this will work, because you are then on their server and your own IP is not being used. It might fool the Nazis. Of course, they might have blocked http://www.anonymizer.com/ from their list too

Cool, Tonchi! Hope it works for Hobbs. It might solve Lookout's problem, too. Hope he sees this thread.

The only problem is you have to sign in and use the free demo if you don't want to get the subscription. That is a pain, but I think it might work because the same IP is never used twice, it is kinda like a spin=the=bottle IP capture that their site does. I used it to get into discussion board of rival websites which had banned me and my IP, when I wanted to flame them

Oooh, I am screwed if this ever happens at my work, no internet at home. Ugh, I'd have to get a whole new computer, mine is WAY old, like, the HD is 2G. Totally ancient. Not enough oomph to run computer games for my 3 year old!!!
