I was hurting earlier...losing points! I can only hope my tonight game and Monday night's game give me enough points to beat the chasers!

*grumble* and I have to admit the steelers were good today. *grumble*

I kept thinking I had a slight chance of catching up and winning.

Good job, Chasers!

That's the problem with having everyone on one team. If the team has a good day you're solid, if not...

yeah, but I only started 3 cowboys. EVERYONE sucked. Andre Johnson scored 4 pts?, Matt Forte got hurt... flacco was flaccid.

I could have started my entire team and I'd still have lost by 8 points. bleh. turrbull.

Glatt,
Philadelphia radio stations are reporting that Jeremy Maclin will not play this Sunday due to a hip pointer

Eta: it occurs to me that some of you may not know that you can make substitutions right up until game time, provided neither player has started yet.

So, at 3:55 pm est, if you have a starting WR that plays a 4pm game, and a WR on your bench that plays at 4 or 8:30 or monday, you can still switch them.

Thanks Jim. I didn't know you could switch things around after some of the play had started.

glatt,

are you reading the little notes they give you about the players? I see you put Jennings in to replace Maclin.... but you have Crabtree on your bench:

Quote:
Jennings (groin) was a limited practice participant Friday, Packers.com reports.

Analysis: Jennings is making a strong push to play Monday, but his owners will definitely want to check his Saturday status before locking him into the lineup at the expense of Sunday replacement options.
Quote:
Through the first two games, Crabtree leads the 49ers with 16 targets and 13 receptions for 143 yards. He ranks tied for eighth in the NFL among wide receivers in catches.
Analysis: Crabtree and quarterback Alex Smith have developed a fantastic chemistry not seen in the last few years and the receiver's 81.3-percent catch rate is a big reason as to why. When Smith needed a target on third downs during a crucial late-game drive against the Lions, he consistently went to…read more
the guru is a computer that projects the points the player 'should' score, but I don't think it factors marginally injured players.

I could be wrong, but I think Crabtree vs the Vikings defense is a MUCH better play than a gimpy Jennings against a tough Seahawks D.

Yeah, I read those little notes, and thought about that. It's a risk, but the guru said that Jennings will earn twice as many points as Crabtree if he plays.

I'll check again before the games tomorrow. Guru says youre going to cream me anyway, so 10 points might not make a difference.

The Patriots were terrible for Eagle Green last week, so I switched them out with Green Bay. Let's see what happens with green on green...

The Barking Toads deflated today and were looking toward defeat when Peyton Manning steps up and has a huge 4th quarter. Now the Toads are up 16.2 and Spence has only his kicker and defensive player to get those points tomorrow. Computer says he'll get 21 points tomorrow. Computer's been wrong before every time, so it's another close one!
