That happened at least once--between the protagonist and Yuki, after June the call-girl visited him at the Hawaii hotel. I keep thinking there's another time it occurs between the same pair, but I can't find it.

However. Going back to "350-40"... in the online version, page 350 through Chapter 40 is the "bar convo" between the protagonist and Gotanda, which from Gotanda's side is summed up by his line, "You really think you can forget I killed Kiki?"... his feelings are, very clearly, '[Will] you still [like me], even if [i] did something really terrible?'
