Typhoon Baiyan - Central Philippines
Hello. A tphoon recently described as the largest in recorded history has passed through the middle portion of the Philippines.
That is not true, there were 2 previously of the same power and speed. One in 1972 and another in 2010. God is not punishing us or the world. Global warming is not creating more of these storms. It missed us by several hundred miles. The only inconvenience that we had was an internet outage for 12 hours. The street lights were also out for two nights, which is an inconvenience, for sure but no tragedy. The wind was howling for the most of 2 days but without a tornado or wind speeds fast enough to blow houses down here in Baguio City. So, we're in the same condition as we were before the "superstorm" of the century. Thank you for your attention. Go out and hate someone today. You'll feel better about yourself. slang |
