I dunno, it's getting colder here.
I went on a two hour walk around Spitalfields today (fascinating - Hugenots, the silk trade, prostitutes, Jack the Ripper - and we saw Tracey Emin's house and Gilbert & George's house) and I was cold by the end. The guide asked at the beginning if I was sure I'd be okay - wearing a jumper (sweater) and a long wool skirt with no socks and ballet pumps. There was less walking and more standing listening at 16.30 when we finished - brrrrrrrrr! Lovely! When I went to Greenwich (covered) Market yesterday I got in a conversation with a female stallholder. She was amazed I didn't have a coat on. I went straight from the gym so was wearing a polo shirt and sweatshirt over it. I explained that if it wasn't such a crush in there I've had taken my sweatshirt off too She was amazed, but not so amazed she gave me money off the bracelet I was buying for my niece's Christmas present... Tuesday I am VERY happy about. My friend Teri is coming down, we're doing a London Walk and then going to see Crowded House. I feel better knowing it'd cold, crisp and DRY for walking about.

Quite decent of them to have the Celsius/Fahrenheit scale go all the way down to -50/-60 and all the way up to 50/120, just in case they need to indicate with dark purple that Georgia is experiencing some sort of incredible cooling. And they allocate the color "white" out to 60/140 just in case global warming accelerates. Decent of SG to convert to Fahrenheit for us |

It's kinda chilly here in Indianapolis but since the whole continental US is my playground, I can tell of warmth and frigid temps.
And I let beginner drivers fresh from their one-week CDL schools drive me around! <shudder> I am SO looking forward to seeing my wife for New Years.

Lucky bastards.
Its warm here if the wind chill is above 0 degrees F. But at least there is snow on the ground, cold windy weather with no snow is extremely depressing. |

Actually, I have a question for you, BrianR. Sitting up so high like that in your rig, does the mist spray from the tires on the salty/wet road cover your windshield too, or can you see over the mist? In my car, you need good wiper blades (and plenty of washer fluid if it's salty.) |
