hell again!

hey Dwellars, (is that what we're still referred to as?)

I've been gone for a long time! Doing school, looking for jobs, trying to make the most out of my final years at the University of Illinois. I thought I'd make this post to reintroduce myself. I think I'm going to try to post more, as my life will change to more time spent on a computer. So to new guys, hello! And to the regulars, hello again let's post s'more.

I will be walking at commencement in two weeks and getting my BS in Sport Management in August. My major requires me to fulfill a final internship practicum before I receive my diploma. I am fulfilling that requirement this summer, interning with a small marketing team called American Business Graphics. I'll be doing sports marketing, advertising and promotions. The coolest part of this internship is WHO i will get to meet: Much of the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl winning team and Mike Ditka! Ditka hosts a golf outing event in August, and I will be helping put it together and running it! The internship is unpaid, but hopefully with this experience I can get a full time job or maybe be hooked up by the important people who notice me. That's the best thing I can do, cater to people, network and do my best. The sports industry is all about networking so I'm going to try to do that. wish me luck, and I appreciate any advice you guys have.

Hopefully I'll be able to read and post more often.

Hey FC, I was gone for about a year and just came back about two weeks ago. Some of the previous posters are gone, but others have changed their names, so it's sometimes a challenge to figure out what's going on.

Good luck with your new life.

I spent a couple of Chicagoland golf outings and a drunken nite at a South Bend bar with the Bears at that time in their history. My company supplied the girls that washed the [golf] balls at the holes. All the money went to charity. It would be fun to see them all now. I bet the edge is off that testosterone.

I hope you have a great summer FC!
