I don't usually ask the "what are you thinking" question. Not anymore, anyway. I guess I just assume that if perth has something interesting to say, he will say it. If he is thinking something he wants to tell me about, he will do so. But, usually, if he isn't talking much, it means he isn't really thinking about much of anything, except for maybe mundane day to day stuff. And I dont really need to hear about all that unless he offers the information.
