If you're looking for a quick meal I find that two or three McChickens does the job. Cheap too.
If not try canned hunts spaghetti sauce with smoked sausage sliced up in it. My pasta preference is thin. Mostly 'cause it cooks faster.

I ended up cooking some rice and draping cheese over it. I added some broccoli and butter and Bragg and called it good.

mixed veggies and College Inn chicken broth. Any left over meat or fish is optional. Nuke for a few minutes. Instant Mm-mm good.

Oh, you're one of those. I know all about those kinds of meals. Here's one:

Broccoli-cheese potato: Peel and chunk a potato, nuke, and mash. Add butter, salt, pepper. Nuke some chopped broccoli, pile on top of potato. Top with cheese, nuke until melted. Season to taste.

And it's not even dinner time.

Hmmm. I might try that, Bitman.

I should have added some assorted vegetables.

Why not just bake whole and mash since it's so quick? Does it give a different taste or texture?
Why the hell am I asking questions when I can just go do it.
Nevermind.

I just made a fantastic casserole, with eggs, turkey bacon, sweet italian sausage, and a blend of four cheeses. It took a while to make, but it was worth the time.

We need to resurrect this thread because it's #2 on g00 gel for the phrase, "What should I eat for dinner?" and so apx three people per day read it to try to figure out what to eat for dinner.

Let's tell em what to eat! For dinner!

Chicken Soup

I made this last night...

5 or 6 organic chicken thighs

two stalks of celery

3 potatoes

half an onion

two cans of chicken broth

spices: garlic, sage or poultry seasoning salt and peper

After you have chopped up the vegtables stir fry them until they start to sweat then throw them into the boiling water once your chicken is done.

Throw in a smattering of misc. vegtables...anything you have hanging around thow in the pot when your done.

Season to taste , serve with baked bread. yummy!

UT has gone power-mad, believing that he can control what the whole world will be eating for dinner!

No! Just three people!

It may be the same three people every day! They will need diet diversity!
